Setting up

This Terraria server is already preloaded with TShock which allows you to easily mod and make changes to your Terraria server. To start using TShock, you first have to run the setup:

  1. Join your server (see the "Connecting" section)
  2. Once in-game, type /setup
  3. Follow that with /user add [username] [password] owner replacing username and password with your desired username and password.
  4. Type /login [username] [password] to login.
  5. Type /setup to finish setup

The above is taken straight from the TShock setup guide. I highly recommend taking a look at TShock as it is incredibly powerful and gives you a lot of control in administering your server.

Mods

Before using mods, you have to first set up your TShock server. See the "Setting up" section for a step-by-step guide.

Host Factor allows you to upload whatever mods you want to your server. A list of mods can be found here. To install any mod on your server:

  1. Download the mod via the above link
  2. Select your server in Host Factor
  3. Click the "App Settings" button
  4. Under the "Disk" section where it says "Select your mods", upload the mod you just downloaded
  5. Click "Confirm"
