Connecting

1. After your server starts, open Palworld.
2. Click Join Multiplayer Game.
3. At the bottom of the screen, enter [your server host]:[your server port].
   1. Check the Enter password checkbox if you have a server password.
4. Click Connect
5. Done!

Saves

Host Factor will automatically back up your Palworld saves. You can download/upload saves whenever you want.

Uploading a save

1. Locate your save file. Depending on your OS your saves files could be located in different folders. Typically, they can be found in:
   Windows: Enter %localappdata%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames into the address bar in File Explorer
2. Navigate into the folder containing your save. It's usually a random set of characters.
3. Zip all "*.sav" files except "WorldOption.sav" as well as the folders in your save folder.
4. Click on your server in Host Factor
5. In the sidebar that appears, click the "App Settings" button
6. Under the "Select a save file" section, click the upload button.
7. Select the zip file you just created.
8. Click the "Confirm" button in Host Factor.

Downloading a save

Since we back up all of your save files, you can access them at any time in Host Factor:

1. Click on your server in Host Factor
2. In the sidebar that appears, click the "Files" button
3. Navigate to the "saves" directory
4. Select your save and click the "Download" button.
